Energy Sector Roadway Repair Projects, TxDOT Strategic Projects Division – Procurement Engineer

Responsible for developing/evaluating thirty-one potential projects that make-up this P3 project. Scope of work consists of: Developing/coordinating cost estimates, conducting due-diligence reviews, risk assessments, developing shadow-bid, reviewing environmental document, and RFP documents.

Preliminary Engineering & Design Experience

I-35 NEX, TxDOT San Antonio District

Developed traffic control layouts for proposed 19-mile corridor, between I-410 South to FM 1103. Improvements consist of: main lane reconstruction and widening, new overpasses, elevated express lanes, and new interchanges at I-35/I-410 and I-35/Loop 1604.

Loop 1604, TxDOT San Antonio District

Developed schematic design for existing 3.8-mile corridor, taking divided 4-lane roadway to access-control roadway with frontage, ramps, and direct connector. Designed horizontal and vertical geometry, signing and striping, and prelim bridge layout.

FM 723, TxDOT Houston District

Developed schematic design for existing 9-mile corridor, taking 2-lane roadway to a divided 4-lane roadway with multiple intersections. Designed horizontal and vertical geometry, signing and striping, and prelim bridge layout.
